What are your payment terms?

Will I be charged sales tax?
The sales tax that may need to be applied to your purchase is determined according to state and local laws and regulations.  Because the physical location of our business is in New York state, we are required to collect sales tax from our online customers located in New York state, when applicable to a purchase.  The current New York State Sales Tax is 8%.

For our tax exempt customers, New York state laws require us to have your signed tax exemption or resale certificate on file at our offices. We are required to charge you sales tax if we do not have this documentation.
How can I check on the status of an order?
If you have not received your order within 7 days, you may call 800-699-4533 or email us for further information on your order and expected delivery time.
What do I do if I need to change or cancel my order?
If you need to make any changes to or cancel your order, please call us immediately at 800-699-4533.
How do I return an item?
All returns must be made within 30 days after receipt of your original purchase.  A Return Authorization Number is required for ALL returned purchases. Returned item(s) must be in unused condition and in its original packaging.  For information on how to return an item please click here.

Many products sold by Jerome Fire Equipment have manufacturer's warranties. For returns relating to matters covered by a manufactures' warranty, please contact the manufacturer directly to coordinate the repair or return on any such item.  You may also contact Jerome Fire for assistance as well.

How do I redeem a gift certificate online?
Unfortunately at this time, gift certificates cannot be redeemed online. We hope to provide this capability in the future. If you wish to redeem a gift certificate, please place your order by phone, fax or mail.
